BLOOD STAIN CHILD plays melodic death metal, which is spiced up by synths and occasional hints of trance and techno. A band that is clearly open to crossing borders, both literally and figuratively, they have performed overseas many times and have worked with musicians and producers from around the world.

Also, while most of the members wear casual clothes, bassist/vocalist RYO dons typical metal attire, and guitarist RYU, a self-professed "otaku," dresses in an often androgynous, anime-inspired style, reflecting the diverse blend of influences and personalities that gives BLOOD STAIN CHILD its unique sound.
